After doing service for a member
Hey everyone! This week went really well because we found new investigators and taught the restoration to them, so hopefully we can continue to see the people we picked up. Also, we have focused really hard on OYMing (Open Your Mouth) downtown and have picked up a good amount of potentials in the process. I am excited to be increasing our teaching pool, so hopefully some of the people we found are willing to progress!
So, one of our investigators Mike we lost contact with him and haven't been able to see him for about a week. We have called him multiple times and tried to stop by, but he hasn't answered every time. We are going to continue to try and contact him, so hopefully we can continue to see him.
A lot of our investigators we are having to drop or something happens and we lose contact with them, but I know it is 1. part of missionary work and 2. the Lord has a plan for each of his children. That is concept that I have began to learn on my mission more fully that we don't know all the reasons for why things happen, but the Lord knows in what way we will receive the gospel and He may have a different plan for us than what we expected. This perspective has allowed me to accept the Lord's will more fully in my life and to be able to accept whatever outcome is thrown my way. Even though this week was tough in the sense of us losing one of our solid investigators, I know that the Lord has a plan prepared for us and I am excited for what is to come.
Even though we have tough times each week the blessings are so much greater. I love you all and hope you have a wonderful week and I will talk to you all next week!
