Hey everybody! This week went super good and I am loving every second I have to share the gospel here. So, one of our investigators Natalia the one who I talked about last time has accepted baptism! She has committed to the date of July 23! We were able to read from 3 Nephi 11 with her and talk about when Jesus came here to the Americas. She loved hearing about that and she seems like she is super excited and ready for her baptism! I can't wait to continue to teach her.
So, the last thing I wanted to talk about was this recent convert's story. It has nothing to do with me, but I thought it would be something cool to share. So, there is this member named Patrick who just was baptized about 3 months ago and before he was baptized he was having a lot of things going wrong in his life, and he said he felt like he was missing something. He said that he had the feeling to pray and to ask what he should do (Patrick had only prayed a couple times before this). He knelt down and said that he just poured out his heart and told God that whatever he wanted Him to do just to help guide him. After he prayed he told us that in 30 minutes his girlfriend came down to see him and she had a copy of the Book of Mormon that a member had given her and she didn't want to read it, but Patrick knew that this was an answer to his prayer. I thought that this was such a cool story to hear and I know that Heavenly Father hears our prayers and He is always listening and wants to help us to be led on the right path.
I love you all and I hope you guys are having a great week/day. I will talk to you all next Monday!
