Tracting in the snow in Lake Placid
So everything here is going great! I didn't talk too much about the branch last email, but the branch here is super small! We have maybe 30 active members, so all we do is tract and try to teach former investigators! We have had some really good success. We now have another baptism date and her name is Jessica. She accepted to be baptized on the first lesson so that was pretty sweet! Also Delina who was the other investigator with a baptism date, we were able to go to her house for a session (of General Conference) on Saturday and Sunday! I think it was a really good experience for Delina to be able to hear the prophet and apostles speak. They each are so powerful and full of the spirit when they give their talks. My personal favorite was probably Elder Holland, he is such a good speaker and you can always just tell how much he cares about this gospel and the spirit testifies to your very soul when he talks! I loved general conference and each speaker was so good. It was such an uplifting and amazing experience to hear them speak of the things we all needed to hear. I'm so thankful to be here in upstate New York. There is no better feeling than to be able to share the gospel and watch the influence of the Holy Ghost work in them and testify of the truth. Missionary work can be tough at times, but I know its what the Lord has called me to do! Share the gospel at all times when you have the chance. Well, I love and miss everyone!
